Fortex Program: Adding a Printer

The Vortex program supports a wide range of printers, allowing for selection of paper types and printing operations tailored to various market fields and business activities.

Steps to Add a Printer

  1. Access Printer Settings
    • Go to the main menu: Settings → Printers.
  2. Select the Printer
    • Choose the printer you want to use for printing from the list of printers that have been previously installed and configured on your computer.
  3. Choose the Document Type
    • Select the type of document to be printed based on the printer defined on your device.
  4. Select the Printing Operation
    • To differentiate between operations, especially when multiple printers are in use, you can assign specific operations to different printers.
  5. Select the Paper Type
    • Choose the desired paper type for printing:
      • A4 Paper: Recommended for A4-sized sheets.
      • Thermal Paper: Suitable for thermal printing.
  6. Save the Settings
    • After selecting the type, operation, and paper, click the Add button to finalize the settings.
    • Press Save and Exit to complete the printer setup.
