Shift and Day Management in the Fortex Program
One of the standout features of the shift and day management system in Fortex is its intuitive user interface. This allows users at all technical levels to interact easily with the system.
Managing Shifts and Printing Shift Reports:
- You can manage shifts and print shift reports using the main version of the program through one of the two options shown in the image, if working on the same main program version.

- You can manage days and print day reports using the main version of the program, also through one of the two options shown, if working on the same program version.
Activating the Shift System:
- The shift system can be activated for employees using the main system by navigating to Settings > Users, selecting the employee, and enabling the “Restrict Shift System” option.
Day and Shift Management for Cashiers and Touch Screen Restaurants/Salons:
- When working with the cashier program or touch screen for restaurants, day and shift management is done through the main program.
- Managing Days for Cashiers/Restaurants: Go to Sales > Cashiers & POS > Manage Days, and you can view, change the status, and close the open days.
- Managing Shifts for Cashiers/Restaurants: Go to Sales > Cashiers & POS > Manage Shifts, and you can view, change the status, and close the open shifts.
Activating Day Management for Cashiers/Restaurants:
- You can enable day management by going to Settings > Basics > Cashiers: Activate the “Daily Close System” or choose to work only with shifts if the daily close system is not activated.
Closing Systems in the Cashier and Touch Screen for Restaurants:
- Shift Closure System in the Cashier Program:
- The shift closing system is applied within the cashier program for efficient management.
- Daily Closure System in the Touch Screen for Restaurants/Salons:
- A system for closing the day in the touch screen interface is also available, helping manage daily transactions and operations smoothly.
